your notation is a little odd for this problem.  I am not sure if they are fractions or two seperate problems.
I will answer this question as though they are fractions written as{{{((x-3)/(2^3))*(1/((x-3)^2))}}}
by looking at this problem we see that we can cancel out an x-3 from each fraction leaving us
{{{(1/(2^3))*(1/(x-3))}}}
from {{{2^3=8}}}
{{{1/(8*(x-3))}}} distribute the 8
{{{1/(8x-24)}}}
