x=2 and y=-3  x+y(x+y)
2 + -3(2-3)=  We always handle the parenthesis first so it would look like:
2-3(-1)=  Now multiply to give us:(Note when you multiply two negatives it turns to positive)
2+3=      Now add and we get:
5 is the answer.
