Do they give you values for any of the variables or do you just need to simplify?  I will assume simplfying and setting the whole equation equal to zero.

{{{ 9y^8+16x^2w-10xy=3y^2(9w+3y^6)+1xyw }}} Distribute the 3y^2 on the right side
{{{ 9y^8+16wx^2-10xy=27wy^2+9y^8+1xyw }}} move everything to the left side of the equation by subtracting (27wy^2+9y^8+1xyw)  from both sides
{{{ 9y^8+16wx^2-10xy - (27wy^2+9y^8+1xyw)= 0 }}} ditribute the negative
{{{ 9y^8 + 16wx^2 - 10xy - 27wy^2 - 9y^8 - 1xyw = 0 }}} combine like terms (the 9y^8) cancels
{{{  16wx^2 - 10xy - 27wy^2 - 1xyw = 0 }}} that is in simplist form
