Question 229046
It must be a typographical error. If this is the actual problem, then there is NO SOLUTION, since you can't have it both ways:

(w-4)/6 = (3w-1)/2 = -1  means that
(w-4)/6 = -1   and  (at the same time!)   (3w-1)/2 = -1

Multiply both sides by 6:
w-4=-6
w=-6+4=-2

(3w-1)/2=-1
3w-1=-2
3w=-2+1=-1
w=-1/3

It is NOT possible to have w=-2 and at the same time have w=-1/3. NO SOLUTION. However, I think it is more likely a typographical error on someone's part!!
