Question 227404
{{{((w^2 -1)/(w-1)^2)*((w-1)/(w^2+2w+1))}}}

Factor everything that can be factored:

{{{(((w-1)(w+1))/(w-1)(w-1))*((w-1)/((w+1)(w+1)))}}}

Now, divide out the (w-1) factors in the numerator and denominator:
{{{ ((w+1)/1)*((1/(w+1)(w+1))) }}}

Next, divide out one of the (w+1) factors:
{{{ (1/1)*(1/(w+1)) }}}
{{{1/(w+1)}}}
