Step 1.  The initial graph is shown below

Step 2.  For {{{-2<x}}} where the graph is going from the red dot to the right pass the green dot at x=6 all the way to infinity.  The graph does not include x=-2.


Step 3.  For  {{{x>=6}}} where the graph is going from the green dot towards the right at infinity which really overlaps with the graph in Step 2 starting at x=6.  The graph includes x=6.
