Question 226662
Please help me solve this equation: {{{14=16t^2+12t}}}

Step 1. Subtract 14 from both sides of the equation.

{{{14-14=16t^2+12t-14}}}

{{{0=16t^2+12t-14}}}

Step 2. To solve, use the quadratic equation given as

{{{x = (-b +- sqrt( b^2-4*a*c ))/(2*a) }}}

where a=16, b=12, and c=-14

*[invoke quadratic "x", 16, 12, -14 ]

I hope the above steps were helpful.
