Question 226090
Graph the line that passes through the point(-1,2)and has slope –4/3.

Step 1. Starting with the (-1,2) or x=-1 and y=2, we move {{{3}}} units to the RIGHT and {{{4}}} units DOWN since the slope {{{m=-4/3}}}. This means we have another point at (-1+3,2-4) or (2, -2).

Step 3. Use the two points (-1,2) and (2,-2) to plot the line.

{{{graph(400,400, -5, 5, -5, 5, -4x/3+2/3)}}}

I hope the above steps were helpful.
