Question 226066
{{{2x+4y=15}}}

Step 1. I assume you want to plot this linear equation given in standard form.

Step 2. It takes two point to generate a line.

Step 3.  Let x=0 then

{{{2*0+4y=15}}}

Divide 4 to both sides of the equation {{{4y/4=15/4}}}

{{{y=15/4}}}. So one point is (0,15/4).

Step 4.  Let y=0, then

{{{2x+4*0=15}}}

Divide 2 to both sides of the equation {{{2x/2=15/2}}}

{{{x=15/2}}}.  So another point is (15/2, 0).

Step 5. Use these two points (0,15/4) and (15/2,0) to plot the line.

I hope the above steps were helpful.
