Question 225239
Factor by grouping:

{{{x^2+2xy+3x+6y}}}

Step 1. Factor out x in the first two terms and factor out 3 in the last two terms:

{{{x^2+2xy+3x+6y=x(x+2y)+3(x+2y)}}}

Step 2. The factor {{{x+2y}}} is common to both groups in parenthesis, so factor that out.

{{{x^2+2xy+3x+6y=(x+2y)(x+3)}}}

Step 3.  ANSWER:  {{{x^2+2xy+3x+6y=(x+2y)(x+3)}}}

I hope the above steps were helpful.
