Question 225062
Solve each system of equations by graphing.

y=x-2
y=3x-8

Step 1. Graphing the system of equations is

{{{graph(400,400, -10, 10, -10, 10, x-2, 3x-8)}}}

Step 2. Based on the graph, the intersection point is (3,1)

Step 3. Check if the intersection point (3,1) satisfies the system of equations

y=x-2   1=3-2  which is a true statement
y=3x-8 1=3*3-8 which is another true statement

Step 4. ANSWER: The solution is (3,1) or x=3 and y=1.

I hope the above steps were helpful.
