Question 224325
I'm assuming that you're working in radians right? If so, then...

The average should be: {{{ (25 + 6cos(40/3) - 25 - 6cos(30/3))/ (40 - 30) }}} which approximates to 0.93546

Note: recall that the average from *[Tex \LARGE (x_1, y_1)] to *[Tex \LARGE (x_2, y_2)] is *[Tex \LARGE \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}]. It looks like you know the formula, but you forgot to distribute the negative through completely when it came to *[Tex \LARGE y_1]
