Question 221588
What is the slope and y-intercept of y = -2/3 x -12

Step 1. The slope-intercept form is given at y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept when x=0 or at point (0,b).

Step 2.  Given {{{y=-2x/3-12}}} has a slope {{{m=-2/3}}} and y-intercept at {{{b=-12}}}

Here's a graph of the above equation

{{{graph( 600, 600, -20, 5, -15, 5, -2x/3-12)}}}

I hope the above steps were helpful.
