Question 218119
{{{-2x=(-6-4x)/2+3}}}

Step 1. Multiply 2 to both sides of the equation to get rid of denominator

{{{2(-2x)=2*(-6-4x)/2+2*3}}}

{{{-4x=(-6-4x)+6}}}

*[invoke explain_simplification "-4x=(-6-4x)+6" ]

Step 2. Since you 0=0, then any x will solve the above equation.

Say x=5, then -4*5=(-6+(-4*5)+6 is a true statement.

Say x=0, then 0=0 is a true statement.

Step 3. ANSWER: There are an infinite number of solutions to x.

I hope the above steps and explanation were helpful.
