Question 216686
Use the law of sines to solve ABC when a=1.43,b=4.21, and A=30.4 degrees. If no solution exists,write none

Step 1. The Law of Sines for this example is given as {{{sin(B)/b=sin(A)/a=sin(C)/c}}}

Step 2.  Then

{{{sin(B)/b=sin(A)/a}}}

{{{sin(B)=b/a*sin(A)}}}

{{{sin(B)=4.21/1.43*sin(30.4)=1.48979.}}}

Step 2. Since sin(B) must be less than 1, there is no solution to this problem.

Step 3. ANSWER: None.

I hope the above steps were helpful.
