Question 215553
What are the steps to convert this problem into a polynomial equation?

{{{f(x)=-3x^3(x-2)*2*(x+5)}}}

Step 1. Multiply out everything and collect like terms. Order terms in descending order in terms of its degree.

{{{f(x)=-3x^3(x-2)2(x+5)=-6x^3(x-2)(x+5)}}}

Step 2. Let's multiply (x-2)(x+5) using the FOIL method:

{{{(x-2)(x+5)=x^2+5x-2x-10=x^2+3x-10}}}

Step 3. Now Take the equation in Step 2 and substitute in Step 1

{{{f(x)=-6x^3(x-2)(x+5)=-6x^3(x^2+3x-10)=-6x^5-18x^4+60x^3}}}

Step 4.  Answer is {{{f(x)=-6x^5-18x^4+60x^3}}}

I hope the above steps were helpful.
