Question 215422
{{{3x/4-7=8}}}

Step 1. Multiply 4 to both sides of the equation to get rid of denominator

{{{4*(3x/4-7)=4*8}}}

{{{3x-28=32}}}

Step 2. Add 28 to both sides to get x-terms on left side and numbers on right side of equation.

{{{3x-28+28=32+28}}}

{{{3x=60}}}

Step 3. Divide 18 to both sides of the equation to get x.

{{{3x/3=60/3}}}

{{{x=20}}}

Step 4. So answer is x=20.

I hope the above steps and explanation were helpful.
