Question 214881
{{{4/w-1=7/2w+5}}} solve for w

Step 1. Multiply by 2w to both sides of equation get rid of denominators

{{{2w*(4/w-1)=2w*(7/2w+5)}}}

{{{8-2w=7+10w}}}

Step 2. Add 2w-7 to both sides to get w-terms on the right side and numbers on the left side.

{{{8-2w+2w-7=7+10w+2w-7}}}

{{{1=12w}}}

Step 3. Divide 12 on both sides of the equation to solve for w.

{{{1/12=12w/12}}}

{{{1/12=w}}}

{{{w=1/12}}}

Step 4.  ANSWER.  {{{w=1/12}}}

I hope the above steps were helpful.
