Question 214733
I have to find the composition of functions! I did 16 problems already with no problem but can't figure this one out.

g(x)=(2x)^1/2  and   f(x)=x^2+1.  Then find (Fog)(x)=F(g(x))

Step 1. Substitute g(x)=2x^1/2 into f(x) as follows

Step 2.  {{{f(2x^(1/2))=(2x^(1/2))^2+1=2x^((1/2)*2)+1=2x+1}}}

Step 3.  ANSWER:  Fog(x)=F(g(x))=2x+1

I hope the above steps were helpful.
