Question 214216
The steps to solve the following equation -4x+3=19

Step 1. Subtract 3 to both sides of equation {{{-4x+3=19}}} so we can get x-terms on the left side and numbers on the right side of the equation.

{{{-4x+3=19}}}

{{{-4x+3-3=19-3}}}

{{{-4x=16}}}

Step 2. Divide -4 to both sides of equation to get x by itself.

{{{-4x/(-4)=16/(-4)}}}

{{{x=-4}}}

Step 3.  Answer is x=-4.

I hope the above steps were helpful.
