Question 214114
Give the equation of the line with the following slope and y-intercept.

1. m= 4, b= -3

3. m= -2/3, b= 0

Step 1. The slope intercept form is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

Step 2. For m=4 and b=-3 then, {{{y=4x-3}}} (ANSWER). Below is the graph of the line and note the slope and the y-intercept at (0,-3)

{{{graph(300,300, -5,5,-5,5,4x-3)}}}

Step 3. For m=-2/3 and b=0 then, {{{y=-2x/3}}} (ANSWER). Below is the graph of the line and note the slope m=2/3 and the y-intercept at (0,0)

{{{graph(300,300, -5,5,-5,5,-2x/3)}}}

I hope the above steps were helpful.
