Question 211895
What is the 20th term for this set of numbers? 12, 19,26, 33

Step 1. Look for a pattern. In this case the next number is 7 greater than the previous number.

Step 2. Here's a formula for this set of numbers:

{{{12+7*(n-1)}}} so if n=1 then expression is 12 if n=2 then expression is 19.

Step 3.  Let n=20, then

{{{12+7*(20-1)=145}}}

Step 4. ANSWER: The 20th term is 145

I hope the above steps were helpful.
