Question 212836
{{{(y^4 +5y^3 +6y^2) / (y + 2) }}}

The first step is to FACTOR. Take out a COMMON FACTOR of {{{y^2}}}in the numerator.

{{{(y^2(y2 +5y +6)) / (y + 2)}}}

Now, factor the trinomial in the numerator:
{{{(y^2(y+2)(y+3))/(y+2)}}}

Divide out the factor of (y+2).

Final answer:  {{{(y^2(y+3))/1}}}= {{{y^2(y+3)}}}
