Step 1.  Goal is to isolate x on one side and numbers on the opposite side of the equation.  Subtract 2x from both sides of equations

{{{-9<6x+15}}}


Step 2.  Now subtract 15 from both sides of equation.


{{{-9-15<6x+15-15}}}


{{{-24<6x}}}


Step 3.  Divde 6 from both sides of equation.


{{{-24/6<6x/6}}}


{{{-4<x}}}  (answer)


OR {{{x>-4}}}  same result (answer)
