Find the equation for f^-1(x)

1. f(x) = -3x

I will do the first question only.

Let y = f(x)

y = -3x

Now, switch x and y.

x = -3y

Divide both sides by -3.

x/-3 = y

Replace y with the inverse function notation.

x/-3 = f^(-1)x

We can also write the answer as -x/3 = f^(-1)x
