Question 204090
One angle of the parallelogram is 15 degrees less than twice the measure of the angle next to it. Find the measure of each angle of the parallelogram. The sum of the angles is 360 degrees.
----------------------------
1st angle: Let its measure be "x" degrees.
2nd angle: 2x-15 degrees.
--------------------------------------------
Equation:
2(1st angle + 2nd angle) = 360 degrees
---
2(x + 2x-15) = 360
3x-15 = 180
3x = 195
x = 65 degrees (2nd angle size)
2x-15 = 130-15 = 115 degrees (Size of 1st angle)
