Question 203991
Please help me solve this periodic functions question : 1. Write an equation for the following graph in the form y= asin kx
a) with a= 1/5, p= ∏/3
------
Your problems are all the same.
For the sin function the period is always (2pi)/b
where "b" fits into the form y = asin(bx+c)+d
-------------------------------------------
Your Problem:
You are given that a = 1/5 and the period is pi/3
Therefore (2pi)/b = (pi/3)
So 6pi= pi*b
And b = 6
----
So your equation is y = (1/5)sin(6x)
