Question 203308
1. In an equation of a horizontal line, all of the y-values are the same and the x-values can be any value at all.
For example:
{{{y = 5}}} or {{{y = 17}}} These are both example of horizontal lines, the first passes through y = 5 while the second passes through y = 17.
2. In an equation for a vertical line, all of the x-values are the same and the y-values can be any value at all.
For example:
{{{x = 7}}} or {{{x = 45}}} These are both equations for vertical lines, the first passes through x = 7 while the second passes through x = 45.
