Question 202743
try this
each section of a hexagon has an angle of 60 degrees.
the two legs are each one half of the heigth.
the side oposite the 60 degree angle is the sin60*9=
the area of each segment is a=(bh)/2
so the area of the hexagon is a=((bh)/2)(6)
I always go ahead and figure the area of a square that the 18*18 represents, I know my answer must be smaller than that.
Give this a try.
Good luck
