Question 200543
<font face="Garamond" size="+2">

The short leg of a 30°-60°-90° triangle is one-half the measure of the hypotenuse. Or, in this case, the hypotenuse is twice the measure of the short leg. By the way, the answer to this question is probably more meaningful if expressed in miles. Just divide feet by 5280 to get miles.
