Question 200359
Hi all, was just wondering if someone could show me what the correct way to complete and show all working for the following problems. There are a few seperate problems I have to do. I need to solve for x and y for the following.
1. 5x -2y = 1
2. 2x+ y = 11
3. 5x - 3y = 1
-----------------
Those 3 don't have a solution that works for all of them. 2 variables require 2 equations, not 3.
You can take any 2 of the 3 and find a solution.
If you graph these three, they don't have a common intersection point, they make a triangle.
