Trains A and B are traveling in the same direction on parallel tracks. Train A is traveling at 40 mph and train B is traveling at 44 mph. Train A passes a station at 5:10 PM. If train B passes the same stations at 5:40 PM, what time will train B catch up with train A?
-----------------------
From 510 to 540 train A goes 22 miles (44mph times 1/2 hour).

Always go for the simplest method of solution.
PS I think ankor added the 5.5 hours to the wrong time.
