They are both right in the sense that both *[tex \Large \left(\frac{-2}{7},0 \right) ] and *[tex \Large \left(\frac{-4}{14},0 \right)] (or even *[tex \Large \left(\frac{-60}{210},0 \right) ] for that matter) describe the exact same point in *[tex \Large \R^2].  However, the one with the coordinates reduced to the lowest terms is generally preferable.
