Question 191535
<font face="Garamond" size="+2">

Given a number:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ x]

Add 10 to it:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ x + 10]

Multiplying the sun (?) by 3 is a pretty tall order, but we can multiply the above <b>sum</b> by 3.

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 3(x + 10)]

Subtract the given number from the result:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 3(x + 10) - x]

Oh, and one more thing. Please take the time to check your spelling. It is hard enough to try to guess what students want from very frequently incomplete information, but to have to be a cryptographer as well is asking a bit much, don't you think?
