Question 26428
Sorry we did not get to your problem til today, hope this helps!
For each eqution you are going make a table choosing values for x and solving the eqution for y;
1)3x-y=6
x|y
----
1|
2|
0|
So when x=1;
3(1)-y=6
3-y=6
-y=6-3
-y=3
y=-3
One solution; (1,-3)
When x=2;
3(2)-y=6
6-y=6
-y=6-6
y=0
2nd solution; (2,0)
When x=0;
3(0)-y=6
o-y=6
-y=6-0
-y=6
y=-6
3rd so;ution;(0,-6)
Now see if you can do the next one; for the next problems ,you will do the same thing, but then you graph them;
y=x
x|y
---
1|
2|
0|
when x=1;
y=(1)
First point (1,1)
when x=2;
y=(2)
2nd point; (2,2)
when x=0;
y=(0)
3rd point (0,0)
Now graph;
{{{graph (300,300,-3,3,-3,3, y=x)}}}
Now see if you can graph the others, if you have problems let me know
=)
