Question 189487
<font face="Garamond" size="+2">

You said:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \  12 - 4x >< 20]

Which is probably a typographical error.

If you mean:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \  12 - 4x <> 20]

Then that is equivalent to saying:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \  12 - 4x \neq 20]

or 12 minus 4 times the variable <i>x</i> is not equal to 20.

If you really mean:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \  12 - 4x >< 20]

I have no idea what that means.
