Question 188519
how do you graphically solve the quadratic equation  {{{ x^2+3x-10=5 }}}
-------------------
You set the function equal to y, and graph it. Where it crosses the x-axis are the solutions, if any.
{{{ x^2+3x-10=5 }}}
{{{ x^2+3x-15=0 }}}
{{{y = x^2+3x-15 }}}
graph the function by picking values for x and solving for y to get coordinate pairs.
@ x = 0, y = -15
@ x = 1, y = -11
@ x = 2, y = -5
etc.
You get enough points to plot them and connect them with a smooth curve.
