Question 188254
I know this is a dumb question but if I could please get an answer! Can a linear equation be graph such as 2x + 6 = 10?
------------------
Linear equations can be graphed, they are straight lines. The word "linear" is from line.
2x + 6 = 10 has only x, no y.
2x = 4
x = 2
This can be graphed. It's a vertical line, parallel to the y-axis two units to the right of it.
For any value of y, x = 2.
Find 2 points, eg (2,0) and (2,5) and draw a line thru them.
