By the way, you were trying to describe the Greek capital letter Theta *[tex \Large \Theta].  That is just a common convention used for trigonometric expressions.  In fact, any variable will do to convey the same message, so next time just write  *[tex \Large 8 \sin{x} + 4 = 0].
