Question 183445
I have tried solving them as regular equations, but it just all seems not to make sense. I don't know what steps to take or what steps not to take. None of it makes sense to me.
The problem is:
2x-2y<6
x-y<9
If you double the 2nd inequality, you get
2x-2y<18
If it's less than 6, then of course it's less than 18.
If you graph these, you get 2 parallel lines, and no solution.

The directions say Graph the system of the linear equations.
If you replace the < with = and graph them, you get 2 parallel lines.
