Question 181230
Hard to explain where to get the answer from, but I'll try.

Lets start by using a rectangle. We know perimeter is:

{{{2W + 2L = 12}}}

And area is:

{{{L*W = 6}}}

Some quick algebra gets you 2, 1.5. So a rectangle with sides 2 and 1.5.

For the next, let's assume a right triangle.

{{{(1/2)*b*h = 6}}}

{{{a + b + sqrt(a^2+b^2) = 12}}}

Not as easy, but conveniently I know that there is a 3-4-5 triangle, which adds to 12, and {{{(1/2)*3*4 = 6}}}.

So, a 3-4-5 right triangle.

Sorry this didn't do a great job of explaining, but gets the answer!
