Expand using the binomial expansion formula. Show your set-up using the {n/r}notation for the binomial coefficient. Simplify the expansion.
(a - b) exponent is 6. 
I do not understand the subtraction with the expansion formula. Please help!!

I don't know what subtraction you mean, unless it's the minus sign in (a-b).  If that's it, it means the signs of the terms alternate + and - in the expansion.

That's what it is, using Pascal's triangle.
