1.) How many possible outcomes are there from tossing two number cubes labeled 1-6?
the 1st cube can land in 6 ways
the 2nd cube can land in 6 ways
Ans: 6*6 = 36

2.) Describe the sample space for a spinner with four equal sections of blue, red, green, and yellow.
Sample space is a listing of all the possible outcomes on a trial.

3.) How likely is it that an outcome with a probability of 1 with occur?
If the probability is "1" the number of ways to succeed is the same as the number of possible outcomes. Success is assured.

The number of ways to succeed is zer0.  Success will never occur.
