Question 179004
Note: to multiply and divide fractions, you MUST convert mixed fractions to improper fractions. So for example, the mixed fraction {{{1&1/2}}} converts to the improper fraction {{{3/2}}} (ie {{{1&1/2=3/2}}})

If you need help (or just some practice) with converting fractions, check out this <a href="http://www.algebra.com/algebra/homework/NumericFractions/converting-fractions.solver">solver</a>

# 1

Note: {{{1&1/2=3/2}}} and {{{5&2/3=17/3}}}

So {{{1&1/2}}} times {{{5&2/3}}} becomes

{{{(3/2)*(17/3)}}}

*[invoke fractions_solver 3, 17, "*", 2, 3]

----------------------------------------------------

# 2

Note: {{{1&5/6=11/6}}} and {{{2=2/1}}}

So {{{1&5/6}}} divided by {{{2}}} becomes

{{{(11/6)/(2/1)}}}

*[invoke fractions_solver 11, 2, "/", 6, 1]

----------------------------------------------------

# 3

Note: {{{2&1/2=5/2}}} and {{{3&1/3=10/3}}}

So {{{2&1/2}}} divided by {{{3&1/3}}} becomes

{{{(5/2)/(10/3)}}}

*[invoke fractions_solver 5, 10, "/", 2, 3]
