Question 177994

The description of A tells us that the elements in A must be positive integers (or perhaps non-negative integers depending on who is defining the Natural numbers) and that all elements of A are greater than 13 and all elements of A are less than 18. So you could enumerate set A rather easily by:

*[tex \Large A = \{14, 15, 16, 17\}]

Now you can see that there are elements in B not contained in A, so:

*[tex \Large A \neq B]

<i>B</i> <font face="Mathematica1">Ë</font> <i>A</i>

but all of the elements of A are also contained in B, so: *[tex \Large A \subset B]
