Question 177598
*[tex \huge (9x^3 - x^2 - x - \frac {1}{3}) + (x^3 + x^2 + x + \frac {4}{3})]

I'm not sure what you mean by 'clear the fractions'

All you need to do is combine like terms:

*[tex \huge 9x^3 + x^3 = 10x^3]

*[tex \huge -x^2 + x^2 = 0]

*[tex \huge -x + x = 0]

*[tex \huge \frac {-1}{3} + \frac {4}{3} = \frac {3}{3} = 1]

So:

*[tex \huge (9x^3 - x^2 - x - \frac {1}{3}) + (x^3 + x^2 + x + \frac {4}{3})=10x^3 + 1]
