Question 177543
Find the LCM
d^2, d^2-16, and d^2-8d+16
------------------------------
To determine the LCM of a set on expressions:
1st: Factor the expressions
d^2, (d-4)(d+4), (d-4)^2
Then
2nd: The LCM is the product of the various factors in their highest power
-------------
So your LCM must have d^2; it must have (d+4); it must have (d-4)^2
--------------------
Ans: d^2*(d+4)*(d-4)^2
