It take Felicia 25 minutes to walk one mile. At this rate, how long would it take her to walk 7 miles? 
I multiplied 25 x 7 = 175 minutes. But am confused trying to use the formula.
D=RT
D=7 miles, R=25 min/mile, T=T 
7=25T
7/25 = T
T= .28 minutes 
What am I not understanding? Thanks for your help!

You did it right, it's 25*7 = 175 minutes.
For the d = rt:
d = 7 miles
r = 25 mins/mile --> 1/25 miles/minute.  The rate in that equn is distance/time, not time/distance
So,
7 = (1/25)t
t = 25*7 = 175 mins
