Question 173752
sure. I am sure you are aware of the point slope formula which states that
:
y-k=m(x-h) where m is the slope and (h,k) is any point on the line. That is what we will be using.
:
using our point of (4,3)....y-{{{3}}}={{{7}}}(x-{{{4}}}). Now we want this in standard form which is Ax+By=C.
:
y-3=7x-28....distributing the right side
:
7x-y-28=-3...subtracting y from both sides
:
{{{highlight(7x-y=25)}}}adding 28 to both sides
