Question 173450
{{{6x^2+ 7x=5}}}

Put the quadratic into standard form:

{{{6x^2+ 7x-5=0}}}

This does factor, but it is a little tricky. You can just use the quadratic formula and get the two roots pretty quickly:

{{{x = (-7 +- sqrt( 7^2-4*6*(-5) ))/(2*6) }}}

You can do your own arithmetic, just remember to consider both the positive and negative square roots so that you derive both roots of the equation.  Hint:  {{{sqrt(169)=13}}}
